Sandy Island BBQ is located on a small cay near Sandy Ground. To access the restaurant, patrons wait on the pier near Johnno's Bar in Sandy Ground; a free shuttle runs approximately every 20 to 30 minutes.

The menu is very simple, offering grilled ribs, chicken, fish, crayfish, or lobster. Customers can swim and snorkel on the island.

There is live music on Sundays.
