Food extremely dirty
Wanting to try some traditional Chinese food, we went to this restaurant in Ashfield against the advice of a friend, who warned me that she was once served a dish that had bits of rubbish in it.

It was to my extreme shock and disgust that we were served a beef dish in a clay pot which was filthy with all different types of hair in it - short and long, straight and curly, all black in colour.

We completely lost our appetite upon seeing that and demanded an explanation from the owner's wife, who speaks English poorly. What was worse, we were forced to pay for the meal, despite not having so much as touched the food, by a burly guy who stood in our way.

I am shocked to think where those hairs could have come from and to think of the treatment we received. I will never go to this restaurant again and I would advise others to avoid it as well.    [20 Mar 2005 23:42:48]
