Oxtail Tom Yum? Chaing Mai Sausage?
This little place is seriously good. The usual things are done rather better than average, but the specials board has fabulouos things. Try the Oxtail Tom Yum. Eat it with rice (Thai soups are meant as things to wet rice with: they shouldn't be drunk like a Western soup) or the fabulous home made Chaing Mai Sausage, fresh and redolent with home grown kaffir lime leaf and other things. Plus the place has a nice funky new renovation. Worth travelling to, and (esp given the prices are regular suburban Thai prices, not 'quality' prices) another reason for being thankful for living in Erko.    [04 Mar 2004 20:21:35]
