Don't bother Am a regular Japanese restaurant visitor, and tried Okori for a change recently. I was not greeted with a smile but with "have you got a reservation?", and was sat at an ala carte table with being asked if I wanted teppanyaki or not. The staff then proceded to sit at a table near me and have a chat about something, despite the fact that I pointedly looked at them a number of times with my menu shut, as I was ready to order.
The food arrived luke warm, and in incredibly small servings considering the price tags. For $3 I got a tiny bowl of lukewarm miso soup, for $6 I got lukewarm, old tasting agedashi tofu, and for $17 got 10 paper thin slices of poor quality salmon and king fish.
To add unprofessionalism to everything else, when I went to pay the girl did not have any change in the register but had to go out the back to get the change, leaving me waiting about 10 mins.
It was extremely dissapointing and there are much better quality Japanese restaurants in Castle Hill and Parramatta. [14 Oct 2005 05:25:11]

Very Disappointing Give this one a miss. Parking is inadequate and the area is a slum. We had a Teppanyaki and staff were continually hurrying the diners, in may cases removing dishes before they were finished. The food was badly cooked, some of it was burnt. Crockery was chipped and the tabletops were not clean. [02 Jul 2006 01:20:24]
