The BBQ Chicken Roll Is the Best.
The BBQ chicken roll is the best menu item served by Ogalo. It's very similar to the Oporto Roll. Fresh chunks of bbq'd chicken chucked on a grill & made crunchy before slapping them into a mayonnaise coated roll with lettuce. Sloppy, tasty.. and full of dry, crispy chicken!    [12 May 2003 06:54:56]

This Is Ridiculous
Ogalo is the best thing since sliced bread. Ogalo is not a meal, it's a lifestyle. You don't just eat a jumbo; you live a jumbo Ogalo. Marrickville Ogalo is heaven on earth. Never, ever compare Oporto to Ogalo. Until you have tried the jumbo Ogalo from Marrickville you haven't lived. The best ever. I go at least twice a week. Until you try Marrickville Ogalo, do not even consider reviewing Ogalo. One jumbo and you will be hooked. Over and out.    [06 Aug 2003 03:29:06]

Good Ambition
Not many Ogalo's around in Sydney compared to Oporto Portuguese Chicken & Nando's which dominate the market at the moment. Ogalo is a growing business which indeed offer's a fantastic product, with a Portuguese flavour, but just lacks in standards, customer service to be competitive against its competitors. Where I believe if Ogalo introduces a strategic plan, including a marketing plan (Which surely they are) to enhance the company through innovation & change & growth expansion, they will be very successful in the future.
Keep up the good work!    [25 Oct 2004 07:44:24]

Damn Nice Burgers
The burgers are damn nice. The burgers are made fresh from scratch from the moment you order it, the warm toasted bun and the grilled chicken fillets and melted cheese and lettuce; it's the best burger I had.    [17 Jun 2005 20:30:59]

I'm An Ogalo Addict
No other fast food comes close to Ogalo. The hot Ogalo is a work of art, I'm totally addicted to the chilli flavour. I also recommend getting some prego sauce to dip your chips in. Oh yeah, I could smash an Ogalo now!!    [07 Jul 2005 03:46:12]

The Best of Them All
I used to live in Kensington and ate at Ogalo a lot. I went to Oporto one day and was really let down by the overinflated prices and lack of size in the burgers compared with what I was used to at Ogalo. I now live on the Gold Coast and there are no Ogalo's here (hurry up and get some stores up here... I am having withdrawal symptoms), so in my desperation I ended up at a Nando's store. Nando's I would rate as not even one out of ten. I could not even finish what they loosely call a chicken burger. If you like Nando's you are too easily pleased and do your self the biggest favour you could ever do...try OGALO...and enjoy it, you will.    [15 Oct 2006 23:39:24]

Best Takeout
Totally addicted. OMG the hot ogalo -- so fresh and hot...the chilli, the chicken, the sauce. Yummmmm.

And never forget to dip those crispy hot beautiful chips into Prego sauce -- otherwise you're just not eating right    [24 Mar 2007 09:38:46]

Awesome
My boss introduced me to Ogalo and I was expecting something crap like Oporto but was I wrong! Oporto I don't like eating with lettuce; there's not enough chili in the burger and it's too sweet. Ogalo's addresses all these factors which make me say that the Hot Ogalo burger is the best burger you can get in Sydney.    [14 May 2007 07:37:08]
