Excellent, cheap , authentic Indonesioan food...
We have been to Pondok Buyung many times...

It has never disappointed. Stepping in reminded us of our homeland immediately... The food is not fancy; it is simply home cooking, but very authentic and done to perfection! For $6.50, you get a portion of any 3 dishes along with rice, free hot tea and sambal (chilli relish).

We have returned to Adelaide but still visit Pondok Buyung a few times a year - we always bring some back to Adelaide, especially the beef rendang and coconut-curried spinach!    [22 Dec 2003 08:02:45]
