Hidden Gem
No matter how many times I visit this restaurant, the service, the food, and the atmosphere are always outstanding.

The owners are friendly, and the waitstaff are fantastic. I've lost count of the number of times a finger-bowl has turned up at the *exact* time I needed it after attacking a lobster.

This one's for seafood lovers, although there are some non-seafood dishes available. I can highly recommend the spinach and ricotta stuffed prawns with dressing for an entree, and either the garlic mudcrab or lobster mornay for mains. Alternatively the seafood platter is the way to go if you want to sample it all.

If you can manage to get seated on the balcony at late afternoon/early evening, enjoy watching the sun set over the Georges River.

Ladies will also be pleasantly surprised by a gift upon leaving the restaurant as well - the added touch of stunning service not found anywhere else.    [05 Nov 2000 17:53:23]

Dessert
I think that the Lugarno Pancakes are the best for dessert. They are cooked in a pernod sauce, right at the table, and served straight off the saucepan and onto your plate.    [06 Apr 2002 08:06:22]
