Favorite Spot In Manly
Wonderful atmosphere and service. Was visiting NSW for a week and ended up back at Zinc twice - which is a rarity. Extremely friendly and competent staff with craving worthy food. If in Manly for dinner, this spot is not to miss. [11 Jan 2005 09:31:17]

Recommended Dishes: Fantastic Barramundi. Salmon with Pea Risotto dish is also amazing.

Bad service
We had been waiting 40 minutes. We asked if the food would be much longer and the staff curled her lip and answered that they were very busy but she'd ask. Her answer when she came back was 'It's taking so long because you ordered your steak well done'. Orange feather earings, 20th Dec. Remember us? Bad service twice in a row. But wait there's more! The older woman walked passed several times, looked at us, smiled, seemed ok until one of us went in to use the toilet (long shorts and green tipped hair) and was told, very haughty, 'for customers only!'. Remember us? Maybe you have short term memory loss. Even if you can't remember the customers you smile at it would be a good idea if you modified your tone just in case the person you are talking to is a paying customer. More fool you, even tho the food was ok (but you could have had a better veg choice, I mean, spagetti in the middle of summer??) I'm going back to the Beach House for my daughters birthday next year. Excellent Service
U will enjoy anything you eat at the beach front in Manly but service makes all the difference. All staff especially Zef (Manager) does a great job very friendly and geniune Loved it comin back... [16 Mar 2006 06:42:23]
