This place has a good chance of dissapointing you big time if you're looking forward to service & attitude which is consistent.

I got served some nasty burnt chicken schnitzel today. Sure apprentice chef...but I had to pay $17.50 for that which I couldn't eat?!

In the past, I've ordered food, and it's come back wrong. Service is occasionally stroppy, with unpleasant attitude.

It's such a pity that of the times that we lucked out with good service & food, is so outweighed by the number of times we've been dissapointed and left the restaurant with ill feeling.

We've vowed in the past to never return again, but after that episode, I don't feel that George's is worthy of our patronage ever again.

When we walked out, I heard a couple walk by and loudly state "I'm sick of George's". Which is really upsetting, that a restaurant allow itself to become so run down in service & food.

You've got a 50/50 chance of enjoying your time here. But I guess, 50/50 is simply not good enough for me. You might be better off just sticking to coffee & cake at this place.    [15 Dec 2000 19:38:09]
