Extremely poor level of service! This place had the worst services I had ever come across. A friend and I went to Ziggys last night. After waiting for 10 minutes we ushered a waitress to bring us the menu, after another tiring 10 minutes and countless times trying to get the wait staffs attention we managed to tell them our order - just a latte and a mango juice. Half an hour later, we called a waitress telling her we were waiting for a latte and a juice. She came back saying "sorry" it was not in their computer. If that wasnt enough, one sip of that juice was enough to tell me that it had gone off - it was fermented and fizzy - Having had enough, I told the waitress to take it away and that i didnt want to place a replacement order, she wasnt apologetic at all and was very rude. We couldnt get out of their fast enough. Imagine my horror, when I went up to the counter and they insisted I pay for the juice!! The waitress said "It tasted fine to me" I said "It was fizzy and fermented and tasted rotten and you think it tasted great??" She replied with a cold "Yes, it was fine, there was nothing wrong with it" I had never ever come across a place where they made me pay for something I had not even consumed. She offered a 10% discount but I couldnt believe the nerve of these people. I paid and walked out of there. It only occured to me later that I should have taken my "fine" juice and had it tested!! I was definately do not recommend this place based on this extremely poor level of service! [26 Aug 2005 19:50:51]
