Good lunchtime value
Excellent friendly, service. Good example of the surge in sub-continental restaurants in Sydney. Large, brimming, house red by the glass, delicious veg and non-veg thali, ideal for lunch. Atmosphere fashionably, authentically Indian-naff.    [22 Nov 2004 11:35:47]

Bad service
I would like to say that I am very disappointed with the service at Neelam. We simply asked a question whether any beef was served in the tandoori platter, just to be sure as we don't eat beef, and the waitress started abusing the person who asked the question and said 'don't u know its an indian restaurant blah blah...'. The only answer needed was yes or no!

Then we couldn't really enjoy the food, as we all got very upset with the behaviour, and when we waited till the end to complain, she was unappologetic and said 'I don't care , is ther anything else??'. They should train the staff how to behave, let alone servicing customers.    [10 Feb 2005 22:19:29]
