Excellent coffee
Situated in an unassuming shopfront at street level at the High St medical centre, this cafe is a brother to it's better known namesake in Victoria St Darlinghurst. (There's also a third branch on Elizbeth St in the city, at the north end of Hyde Park).

Their coffee is consistently of high standard (which is much more than I can say about most coffee outlets in Sydney). Although I sometimes find a hint of bitterness in their coffee, there's always a rich smooth espresso taste, and for that, I'm willing to overlook any minor flaws.

Although I haven't tried it, they also serve the usual cafe meals and cakes/pastries.    [25 Apr 2003 16:02:00]
