Go anywhere else but here!!!
I spent 2 1/2 weeks in Australia comming from The western part of New York State in the USA. I was there with four people and this was the only place we ate that had horrendous food, an inept wait staff. For 15 years I have been the food dritic for a local arts and entertainment magizine and was agast. My Seared Kankaroo Loin with baby artichokes contained no artichokes. One of my dinner partner's salmon was so undercooked it could have been sushi. HIs potato soup which sounded so appealing was appalingly bland. Another dinner partner's King Fish was intensely dry and had no flavor. The wait staff we begain with took our order never to be seen again. After a half hour of watching her eat at one of the back tables we summoned someone else. After our meal was delivered no one came to see if we wanted more water, wine or anything. This was our first evening in Australia and the City of Sydney. We didn't know what to expect in the future. The wine was what we expected and the wharf is a spectacular view.    [28 Jan 2005 19:24:49]
