A table with a view Affordable food, nice staff, delicious fish. We went there twice during our visit to Sydney. [06 Apr 2003 10:35:24]

disappointed Food nice but prices outrageous. Staff very arrogant and rude. The view was stunning. Very disappointed. Wouldn't return there and wouldn't recommend to anyone. [22 Nov 2003 01:26:55]

So many better places to go in Sydney. Avoid the hype. Food was poor. Sent my meal back, waiter accused me of not knowing how my food should be cooked. Tuna should have been seared as that was how it was listed in menu, not cooked all the way through so no pinkness left.
Very poor effort. Disappointing.
A glorified fish and chippery. I'll take Cafe Sydney, Aria or Aqua Luna any time, and you still have a view. [21 Jan 2004 18:44:01]

The Most Amazing Restaurant Doyles is an amazing restaurant, the waiters were so nice and courteous and the food..well there is nothing better! The food was cooked perfectly and tasted absolutely divine..it is expensive, but who wouldn't pay big bucks for such a great night out with a beautiful view and beautiful food and such lovely people serving you! 10/10! People don't know their food... I know fish and chipperies that serve properly cooked fish as opposed to the debacle that was Doyles at the Quay.
Tuna is like steak, you should be asked how you would like it cooked. Unfortunately mine arrived well done.
The scenery is wonderful but the restaurant lacks any sort of atmosphere. The wait staff look like they have been taking out of a Pokie Lounge and have name tags reminiscent of McDonalds.
Everything was wrong. [10 Aug 2004 02:09:09]
