Best value in Brisbane
Tibetan Kitchen has to be the best value food in Brisbane! I've eaten there, literally every time I eat out, for the last 2 years. A great selection of delicious vegetarian and meat based meals which are both filling and cheap. Go prepared to be served by Nepalese, cooked by Nepalese in traditional Tibetan surroundings. Great atmosphere, but leave any yuppie opinions at the door. On weekends, your food may not be instant, but it's worth the wait.

Best dishes: try the mixed entree first time around, but the Samosas and Momo's are generally agreed to be the best. The tofu curry is phenomenal, and the reason for my loyalty. The Dahl is also great, they usually serve it as a thin soup for entrees but you can ask for thick Dahl with the mains.

Tibetan Kitchen is full of character and bursting with flavour. If you don't believe me drive past one evening, wind down the window and smell the proof.    []
