Traditional and pleasant
Gaby's, formerly Herries House, has a traditional menu consistent with the rather grand interior of what was originally one of the grand old houses of the area. The food is good although on the expensive side, but the service is less attentive than it should be - perhaps Saturday lunch is not the time to go!    [05 Aug 2003 00:48:27]

A while ago when i first moves to toowoomba i went to gaby's for lunch with my family. i had a waitress Renae and she made the experience wonderful. i've never laughed so much at lunch before, and the food was even better. but when i went again it was terrible. the food was great, but the service was just as good.
