Revisited in December. What has happened here? Such a decline! Now has new owners - replete with blaring pop music and a menu that bears no relation to what little is on offer. Presented with wine list but little available except beer. Waitress obviously harassed and in need of assistance - polite but under too much pressure. Meats were tough/watery and vegetables mush - all bland. Meals were returned barely touched with complaint which was not addressed. Although dining early, dining room appeared unclean - spotted tablecloth, old rice on the floor etc.    [03 Feb 2004 18:29:40]

great dining! fabulous cuisine!!!
being a salesperson,i have always visited bairnsdale from time to time and enjoy indian/pakistani cuisine amongst others.the food was always great,but when i visited in december 2003 and end of january 2004,well, what can i say, the food was absolutely divine! the music was a change but then everyone does not enjoy indian music.when asked to tone it down a tad, i am happy to say the waitress did oblige.the atmosphere did change after Feb.and i hear the restaurant has now closed.i do hope there will be another indian/pakistani restaurant in the area soon. steve    [28 May 2005 21:07:58]

Loved this restaurant, what can I say, am disappointed by this reviewer's comment,my family has enjoyed the food at this place, and the new owners have only done the previous owners proud.Did not know what to expect, but the tantalising aromas and exquisite blend of spices only proved to be a culinary delight to one and all in the dining room. Sorry that it has closed. If the owners ever think of opening another restaurant elsewhere,then they have my have business. Thanks.    [28 May 2005 21:17:59]
