It's gotten pretty good!
It's not particularly cheap. I think about $20 for a main. I have been to Il Primo many times over the past 5 years or so, and lately (last 12 months), it's become much better than it ever was - in terms of the quality of the food. The serves are fairly large too, which is good. The desserts are fancy and extravagant (and about $9).    [21 Oct 2002 07:43:14]

Il Primo Night

The Food
It is pretty good food but you will pay $30 instead of $20. The chefs look like they haven't showered for months, esp the thin one with goaty.

Glamorous
I've been coming from overseas on working holidays to Melbourne and I find Il Primo to be a glamorous restaurant with friendly staff and delicious food. Greek owners have taken over and they're doing a fine job. Though I miss the jass bands every weekend.    [18 Jul 2006 18:56:56]
