sensational food in Geelong We have waited a long time for a good restaurant in Geelong. We have dined a number of times, and the food is always imaginative, and quite simply sensational. The menu changes often too, so there is always something new, the mix of flavours and textures is amazing. We have had some excellent dishes, too many to name, the bouilliabaise is a house specialty, and rivals any found in the mediterranean. There are flavours from all over the world, Mediterranean, asian, middle eastern/ morroccan, even some english and french! The service is always personal, and attentive, and often Tim, one of the owners and restaurant manager will make a special effort to come over and chat, to all tables it seems. You may catch a glimpse of Simon, the chef and other owner. The decor is homely, slightly contemporary, and warm. The old bank building is very special. This is our favourite restaurant, we used to have to drive to Melbourne for good food, now we don't. Let's hope it is here to stay. [07 Feb 2003 19:35:38]

my divine culinary experience I too used to travel up the Melbourne Road if I ever wanted an imaginative menu that presented me with some degree of difficulty in choosing (as they ALL sound delicious) - but 2 Faces does that and so much more. Each time I dine there I feel like its all done just for me. The service is so personal and efficient its refreshing and the food is overwhelmingly sensational. No wonder it has received a lot of accolades. The only complaint I have is that I find far too many excuses to book in at much too regular intervals and am therefore worried about my increasing alcohol intake ( from their very impressive wine list!)and my vanishing waist line!! This restaurant is worth it! Try it for yourself you will NOT be disappointed! [07 Mar 2003 19:26:47]
Food: Service: Ambiance: Overall: Recommended Dishes: the panfied haloumi with tempura vegies and date and lime pickle is fabulous, their vegetarian dishes are always imaginative, and my favourite dessert on this menu is the melt in your mouth brulee
