Awful place
Hi,
I ate here with a colleague, in April 2004. It was one of the worst meals we have ever had - do not waste your money folks.

One meal arrived, with both sets of vegetables. The second meal arrived about 10 minutes later, by which time the veg had gone cold. We complained at this point and the veg was duly removed, never to be seen again!! The fries arrived after we had finished the main course.

The "salesperson" who had persuaded us to eat in the restaurant did not want to know.
I was so disgusted with both the food and the appalling service, that at the end of the meal I asked to speak to the person in charge. In actual fact, I spoke to the owner who apologised profusely and offered coffee and port on the house. Whilst this was a nice gesture, it did not make up for the episode.

Take my advice folks, and eat somewhere else.    [18 Apr 2004 16:01:00]

Good Time
We had some excellent Red Emperor, I mean it was truly soft and tender, melt in your mouth stuff, and I had chosen a nice bottle of Xanadu to go with it, which altogether made for a very nice quiet and enjoyable evening out,

I read the other article and I am a little at loss, cause the waitress was really nice smiled a lot made a few jokes with us, which made us feel wanted and appreciated.

Unfortunately we didn't get any free port, but really it was enough as it was, I can only say if you like good fish, try here yum yum :)

Oh yes we did have to buy the Vegetables and salad separately as they where not part of the main course but rather an opportunity for the diner to choose what he likes :)    [03 May 2004 19:11:19]
