Worst Cafe in Perth
This used to be a great place to stop for a quick lunch or something more substantial. However, a recent lunch there was a disaster. Our order was soup and an open steak sandwich. We allowed ourselves 1 hour before going to the His Majestys Theatre. It took 30 minutes for our order to arrive. The soup was luke warm and barely a few miillimetres deep. At $15.00 this was outraqgeous quality and quantity. The steak sandwich was no better.....I have had better quality at McDonalds....This was not a steak...it was a steak patty.....and at $22.90 was again poor quality and value. To add insult, we had to queue for 15 minutes to pay our bill at the till. Add a 10 % service charge ( what service) and our reccomendation will be to avoid this Cafe at all costs...!
This is a real shame....we have been frequenting King Street Cafe for many years. Perhaps it has changed hands. Whatever the situation, there is no excuse for such poor over priced food and shoddy service. Be warned !    [13 Jul 2008 22:42:37]
