Amazing Atmosphere, Good Food, but at a Price This was next door to our hotel, and after hearing some nice things said about it by locals, we decided to check this place out.
After walking over a small drawbridge, the most amazing sight greeted me, and I'd be amazed if I ever saw a restaurant like it anywhere else. The restaurant is actually under a canopy, with a pond in the middle. Palms surround the dining area with a look out across the Caribbean Sea at the back. We were visiting in the early evening when it was almost dark, and it looked absolutely superb.
We were given a table in the middle of the restaurant; still under the overhang but only just. It was quite busy, though it was a Friday night; reservations are therefore advisable on Fridays.
The food was delicious; I had a tuna steak with roasted peppers, which I enjoyed. My parents both went for flying fish - this isn't available where I live so I guess they were having it at every opportunity. For dessert, I had ice cream; admittedly not made on the premises but it was local and it tasted okay.
Overall, this is an expensive restaurant, but in terms of food and atmosphere, you get what you pay for. []
