Hygienic standards not ok...
This cafe-resto seems to be very popular.
Maybe it's ok for a coffee and maybe even a sandwich, just maybe. But not for a salad, ingredients are not fresh enough.
The service is slow and not too friendly.
Toilet is not clean.

Crowded at lunchtime
This restaurant has a bustling business at lunchtime and if you don't get there early, you'll probably end up waiting. The restaurant used to be even smaller before, but has nearly doubled its capacity since. One worry is that, if ever there were a fire, I doubt that the people in the upstairs eating area would have much of a chance. The service also leaves something to be desired, but then, isn't that the case nearly everywhere in Brussels.    [09 Nov 2004 10:24:03]

It's popular for a reason
Great location and old fashioned ambiance. Food is simple, good and cheap for Brussels. Staff are stressed but friendly.    [12 Jul 2005 07:48:04]
