A Place to go in the Euregio
The overall rating of the Vier Jahreszeiten is between excellent and outstanding. A familiar atmosphere, excellent food, may be a little to rich if you have to be careful with calories, but very tasty. The service is quick, sometime they have difficulties to understand the foreign language but that does not lead to a downgrading because of their friendlyness! A negative point (not only there, but in most Belgian restaurants) is the fact that they don´t have non-smoker sections or better ventilation. You might find yourself accompanied by a heavy smoker at the neighbouring table. That reduces the taste of the excellent dinner very much. But definetely one has to return to that restaurant which is worth the journey from Aachen to Eupen, at least once a month.    [18 Nov 2002 06:49:03]
