Great View, Nice Decor
Food selection and quality okay to good, service friendly, but the waitress wouldn't sell me a T shirt ... I thought an amputee like me could use one as the perfect souvenir. Quirky but stylish open air decor was perfect for the Marina/Drake's Channel views.    [06 Jan 2004 15:33:54]

Horrible food
The food I ordered for my daughter was terrible. A veggie pizza was the cheapest frozen pizza base with about half a packet of frozen vegetables (onions, carrots and broccoli, not what you would expect on a pizza) tipped on, they hadn't been defrosted first so the pizza was soggy.

The chef came out. He had very dirty fingernails, grimed in. When I asked one of the waitresses if that had really been the chef she laughed and said it was a clean day for him and that I should see the kitchen.

The owner, a Scottish man, wasn't very nice, he said I could pay up and leave if I didn't like his place! I had ordered conch fritters and then sea bass for myself but I just paid for the conch, the pizza and the drinks and left. Very humiliating.    [11 Jun 2006 23:41:31]

Just the best.........
We've enjoyed Peg-Leg for several years now and have always enjoyed the great sailing ambiance, really nice food, great selection of drinks and great service. Our favorite waitress is Kris - she's always fun and eager to serve.
We look forward to our next annual visit and highly recommend Peg-Leg to sailors, landlubbers and to everyone!    [08 Feb 2007 17:52:03]
