Description

Originally a Pusser's Outpost, the Lighthouse retains all the original characteristics. Lunch is typical burgers, sandwiches and pizza on the beach. A popular fern bar, dinner has something for everyone from salads to appetizer-meals to steaks and curries. Daily happy hour with 2 for 1 Painkillers and beers. Thursday is kareoke night!

A typical American style fern bar, we had several meals here as we had rented a villa a few hundred yards away.

In short, good, servicable food. Excellent steaks and the vegetable curry was raveable. With Sammy and Ali weaving magic behind the bar, the alcohol aspects were quite pleasant as well.

Ambiance is excellent as the restaurant is on the scond floor overlooking the marina and the North Sound. Service was typical slow Caribbean and we wondered if the staff here was the second string to the more elegant places on island?    [02 Jun 2001 13:20:38]

Great Freakin' Burgers
The only thing they make well...is the 8 or 10 oz. burger with fries...I have had hundreds! The only two better is/was at the Pirates Pub (now the Saba Rock Resort...what a waste) and in Toronto at Johnny's Burgers at Victoria Park and Sheppard Ave in Scarborough...just ask Mike Myers (Austin Powers).
