Not up to snuff This place specializes in take-out, as evidenced by the very tiny seating area (stools). Billed as one of the good cheap eats (no pun intended), we were less than impressed. My greek salad, $8 was full of white iceberg lettuce. I essentially paid $8 for 5 olives and 4 slices of tomato. The calamari portions were small but tasty. The souvlaki donairs were average at best. The best deal was the soft drinks and lemonade which were only a dollar. Staff did not seem happy with their work. Had to fight to get napkins. This place can only be considered cheap for dinner. For lunch, I would look elsewhere. Feb 2006. [13 Feb 2006 14:22:41]

The best restaurant ever This restaurant in Banff is the most comfortable restaurant I've ever been to. The food is really tasty and the best one I would say is the souvlaki which comes with home made sauce. Plus the price of everything is great. I loved the staff. The burger flipper was really fun and hot. It is a family place where you can eat real Greek food. I would certainly recommend it!!! [23 Aug 2006 23:46:17]

Overrated, overpriced The $6.50 burger was overseasoned to the point that you couldn't even taste the beef. "Rated #1" is an overstatement, at best. Paid $5 for the "greek salad" and got tired, wilted iceberg lettuce, and not even one olive. Staff convinced the salad was perfectly fine. The pita wasn't bad, but not good enough to go back for. Being a takeout place, expect to sit on a stool at a counter with very limited space. [12 Jan 2007 21:06:28]
