Mother's Day Brunch from Hell
I booked our reservation three weeks in advance. On Mother's Day we had to stand in line because the restaurnt insisted on seating everyone (around 300 people) at the same time. When we finally got to the front of the line we were told that they could not find our reservation. The day I booked our reservation I received a call back from a girl informing me of the price increases for this year. When my husband explained this we were told that that was impossible because the only person to do call backs was a man. We were finally told that we could have two tables side-by-side and we thought that would be ok; however, when we sat we found that we were across the from each other. I was totally disappointed. We have spoken to another couple who also made reservations in advance for Mother's Day, and guess what? their reservation was also lost.

I will never ever go to the Landing ever again. At $22.95/person, $15.95 for an 8-year-old and $9.95 for a 5-year-old for Mother's Day Brunch I expect to at least be guaranteed a table when a reservation is made and not to be called a liar.

I intend to tell everyone I know about this disappointing Mothers Day Brunch so that they will not have the same thing happen to them next year.    [09 May 2005 17:23:37]

Great Yearly Anniversary.
My husband and I have been going to Chestermere Landing for the last three years for our anniversary. It started when we went once and then 6 months later we went again. The gentleman who served remembered exactly what we both ate and the type of wine we had the first time we went.
