Great Food, and a Great Location
On my way through Claresholm coming from Montana headed to Calgary, I stopped at Casa Roma. It is conveniently located on Hwy. 2 northbound. I was very impressed with the service, the environment was very comfortable and enjoyable, it was a perfect midday lunch.

I had the chicken cordon blue, and my wife had the beef souvlaki. What can I say, it was amazing. The kids shared a large Hawaiian Pizza, and from the look on their faces (and the fact that there was none left,) I could tell the enjoyed it!

I thouroughly enjoyed the warmth and the "family owned" business environment. Debbie Douros was our waitress and she did a remarkable job keeping us laughing and enjoying ourselves. Keep up the good work, and to those reading...it's a definite must stop!    [04 Jun 2003 11:26:49]

Not Impressed
About 3 months ago, my boyfriend ordered take out from Casa Roma. He ordered escargot, and when they brought it to us it was 6 snails in a styrofoam cup. No mushrooms, garlic butter or anything! Just 6 cold snails. And we got charged over 6 dollars!    [27 Sep 2003 19:16:32]

A great simple Dinner
I just recently stopped in at Casa Roma on my way back home to Montana. I ordered once take out, and I went to dine out then next night. I must admit I had read the previous post and was curious if the escargot was actually served in a styrofoam cup. Well, its not. And for those escagot lovers, it was actually really good. The next night I went in and checked it out myself. It was nothing out of the ordinary. A typical family owned restaurant. Prices were right were I had expected them to be, and the servce was prompt. I orderd a large Greek Lovers pizza and it was great! I do recommend their pizza without a doubt!    [19 Apr 2005 19:27:55]

Excellent!
Going through Claresholm, we stoped over at a Hotel since we were driving for quite some miles, and we ordered take out. I had some Lamb souvlaki (Best tasting lamb ever). My wife had veal cordon bleu which she was delighted with, and we shared some escargots and prawns and they were real tasty! French onion soup
I've eaten at Casa Roma a few times, and found overall the food to be good. However, I did order take out and ordered (among other items ) french onion soup, which was also served in a small styrofoam coffee cup, no cheese, etc. just the broth and onions. I would not recommend the French onion soup, and I would suggest they improve take out orders to fit the prices.    [16 Sep 2006 23:01:39]
