Absolutely Wonderful Barbarossa Restaurant
Wonderful. We went tonight and the service was given by friendly German servers (! ha...yes they exist) and the schnitzel meal and apple crumble cake and real whipped cream were out of this world.

It was nice to see the jolly chef sitting with a table, laughing away, in between cooking. The "Frau" of the restaurant was wonderful and even though the tables were filling up around 7 pm she seemed genuinely thankful for our business and being given the opportunity to serve their German food.

I am very picky about the German restaurants, because I have been to so many (on holidays I ate schnitzel every day!).

Anyways, we will drive out of the big city (escape) and go to Cochrane to eat at Barbarossa again.

This schnitzel was probably second best, only behind the Amadeus Bed and Breakfast/Restaurant in Kimberley.
