Attended a function where this catering company supplied the food to approx. 100 people. They have been asked to return again and again.

I am holding a function for about 30 people and the manager was happy to oblige me even though the distance for them is even further from their home base. The food provided by them was wonderful and the price is right.    [22 Aug 2003 00:32:21]

Better Have a Backup Plan
The last review must have been for the previous owner. At our function, we had to recruit some of our guests to BBQ, as Big Pig didn't show up. I called them after they were 2 hours late, and they seemed to think we hadn't confirmed, but would still show up. They still weren't there two hours after that. We had to carry on without them. Not only were we disappointed with the lack of service, but with the overall lack of professionalism. I'd never suggest Big Pig to anyone.    [03 Sep 2004 19:51:03]

We Came close
this summer we attended a function catered to by big pig and were very disapointed as well, they were late, and very short on food, about 20 people out of a 100 did not get much food. After a lot of calls, we found another caterer, to do our functions, and that was awesome.    [24 Dec 2004 01:08:35]

Message From the Owner: Just to Clarify
As a reply to the two unhappy customers, the first BBQ to be done was someone who could not make up their mind, even up to the last day, whether to have us or not. When the day came, we (finally) got someone to get directions from after leaving several messages, were spoken to very inappropriately and chose not to do a BBQ for such rude and irresponsible individuals. As for the second BBQ there would have been plenty of food had the number of people booked for (80) not turned into 120+. We always have plenty of food to feed everyone for seconds or thirds, and usually always have leftovers.    [30 May 2006 14:07:13]
