Portion Size Was disappointed that portion sizes were very small compared to 6 months or longer ago.
Prices the same but much smaller sized meals. [08 Oct 2004 15:47:39]

There were 4 of us dining and had a great time. The meals were all excellent, tasty and different. The staff were fun and made our visit really enjoyable. [28 Sep 2005 13:20:02]

This place can best be described as having character - it's fun, a bit chaotic, but well worth while. The food is great, the atmosphere relaxed and the service fun. [15 Nov 2005 22:47:06]

Wonderful Flavourful Food. I am always impressed with Divine's food. I return on a weekly basis as I just can't get enough. I love the new winter menus (Nov 2005)- I've tried both lunch and dinner items. I find my meals are filling and the portion sizes are perfect. It's an incredible restaurant in an amazing small town. It's definitely worth the drive from Calgary. I would recommend this "divine" place to anyone who wants to try fresh & flavourful food. Great job! [16 Dec 2005 21:21:22]

Oh My! The food was better than I thought it would be. As an outisider Okotoks doesn't seem to offer much. It's just a smaller town/city outside of Calgary like any other small town. However, hidden in this place is a great find. It's called Cafe Divine - a quaint restaurant off the main street. As the chef is apparently the Alberta Lamb chef what else could I order? It was fabulous. Lots of flavour and huge portions. It's like french style food with North American portions - a great marriage if you ask me. The service was great - we felt like she was waiting on (only us) all night. It's definitely worth the drive from Calgary and we will be making more trips out there. [22 Mar 2006 15:10:08]

The Most Amazing Meals I've Ever Had I have eaten here quite a few times since moving to Okotoks and the food is always incredible. The food is bursting with amazing flavours and is always hot & fresh. I love the quaintness of the ambiance and the patio is fabulous. Make reservations! [12 Jul 2006 19:05:20]

Not Quite Up To Par. After reading some of the reviews here we decided to hit the road from Calgary to Okotoks. Expectations were high. The shrimp appetizer was very good and tasty. The service friendly and prompt. The main course was hugely disappointing. It was some sort of a geriatric canneloni with meshed yam over top. Flavorless and bosing. Guys, if you charge $24 for a vegetarian dish, it had better be a meal to remember. For that kind of money I could have had as excellent rib-eye steak. Maybe they just had an off night, or maybe we just ordered the worst entre on the menu. Not sure. [03 Feb 2007 21:36:15]

Dedication to Food I haven't dined recently at Cafe Divine, but as an old and possible forgotten acquaintence of the chef, I can say with certainty that Mr. Nixon has great respect for his craft. Dine here in comfort for you will be well taken care of [20 Nov 2007 20:49:08]

Decreased Bang For Your Buck. My friends and family have been going approximately four times/year to this restaurant for special occasions. Over the last five years the food has been remarkable with great value for the price. I took my son yesterday and paid $75(including a 20% tip) for two ceasar salads with chicken, a glass of trifle, a piece of chocolate cake, pot of tea and two glasses of iced tea. There was nothing on the menu that I cannot surpass in quality cooking at home, at less than 1/4 of the price. The ambience was not worth the money because the restaurant was frequented by three mothers with their noisy babies and children roaming out of their seats in a space of maybe 800 square feet with thirty tables and no noise reduction measures. I will not be going back to be gouged again...what a pity that the chef and manager has substituted greed for quality just because the oil-rich Calgary market can bear the cost. Locally Inspired Divine is a small and fast paced little restaurant. The two chefs are dedicated to what they do and truly believe in the food they prepare. Almost everything they use is local and handcrafted. Amazing food for a reasonable price. Nicer than downtown Calgary. Staff is knowledgable and super accomidating. I've been eating here for years. Never had a bad meal...always consistent and hot! [12 Apr 2009 01:00:16]
