Very good all around
I am quite happy with this restaurant each time I visit. Their chefs can prepare difficult things that can be repulsive if not prepared properly. They have made wonderful beef and chicken dishes, as well as seafood (lobster, calamari, etc.), lamb (which I don't eat but my husband was impressed with his!), etc. The atmosphere is also nice. Okotoks needed a fancier dining experience. Yiannis provides the ambiance and some great tasting food. A league of its own. [23 Mar 2005 17:30:32]

Very Impressed
I wasn't sure from the outside of the restaurant what kind of food they serve. Once I went in, the decor was great and the smell was even better. The sevice was very good. I had the kalamari to start, excellent size, the tzatziki was very good, and it was cooked to perfection. I had the lamb kabob which was very good and my girlfriend had the chicken souvlaki, which was also very good. To top it all off we had some chocolate cake that was to die for. It Is A Great Dining Experience.
We are regulars at Yanni's because the ambiance, food and service is excellent, not just for Okotoks, excellent period. We suggest you try the beef tenderloin , it is the best we have tasted anywhere. We also attended their 2005 New Years Eve party which was great fun.
