Very Sad
Used to enjoy this place, but it has gone downhill badly. It was dirty, our table had mismatched place settings, the waiter/accordion player looked like he shopped at a thrift store. The lobster was not just not tasty, it had gone bad, or was freezer burnt or something.    [31 Mar 2003 18:43:25]

My Favorite Restaurant
I love going to Bavaria, we go every Friday! I think the prices are great, food's good, service is a little slow, but I like it that way, because when you go out for dinner, it's not supposed to be rushed! I will continue to always go here! Thanks.    [04 Sep 2003 20:58:24]

Take the Good with the Bad
I've been to the Bavaria a couple of times. It would appear to have been a good restaurant gone bad due to lack of maintenance. There is a strange odor, the napkins are damaged, the dishes need replacing, the plastic place-mats are damaged and tacky looking and the over-all decor has been let go and not updated or maintained. The service is also slow and difficult to get. Even with all of that, I would go there again because I felt that the food and the prices are good, and tipping is neither required or earned.    [12 Oct 2004 15:24:03]

Wow, what a transformation!
I just went right after they re-opened and WOW what a difference. The food was amazing, the bar drinks were very well made and our server was great! This is the new "Keg" in Abbotsford.
