Don't go if you want quiet time... The Brown Derby is a great place to go if you like to interact with everyone around you - particuarly the staff. Husband Neil cooks and wife Carolyn serves (?) the customers with unbridled enthusiasm and sharp wit! You may be asked to pour the coffee if they're busy, or perhaps deliver lunch to a waiting table. Everything is delicious - the quiche is unbelievable and Carolyn is truly the Pie Queen with some unusual combinations that must be tried. Highly recommended - a day without the Brown Derby is like a day without sunshine! [22 Feb 2005 14:51:40]

great experience! Best priced breakfast around. Fabulous lunch specials that are very reasonable as well. The food is nicely prepared and quite delicious. You can watch the chef at work and see that you get your meal served the minute it is ready. The sense of humour of the waitress/owner makes this a real experience. [25 Nov 2006 19:24:46]
