"Home-made" Canadian food, with a few dishes from the Southwest, Southeast Asia, UK and Germany. Relaxing atmosphere, period decor (1920's).The Central Cafe is a charming 50 seat licensed restaurant, situated in Ashcroft's last standing heritage hotel. The decor is 1920's style- full of antiques, artwork and historical photographs. The menu is primarily Canadian cuisine, with special dishes from Europe, Asia and the U.K. The chef prepares soups from "scratch" every day, and they are widely renowned for good reason.

Wonderful home-cooked food
We had the pleasure of dining at this lovely little restaurant on a few occasions during our visit to Ashcroft. The decor welcomes you and the food and friendly service will draw you back.    [14 Dec 2006 15:16:03]
