Famous Fish & Chips After working numerous boat shows and asking the question "have you ever been to the Blind Bay Cafe and Marina"? and hearing a hundred times "sure the Fish and Chips are Excellent". Well I finally had the oppertunity to try an order this past weekend.
You can order 1 or 2 pieces Hadock or Cod. I ordered one of each, they where huge pieces of fresh fish. Battered using thier secret formula. The chips fresh cut on the premises. Try the cider vinegar. Now I know why they are Famous. Delicious... [13 Apr 2004 00:11:49]

Needs new owners I love this restaurant, because of the location. The owner, Bob, does not know how to treat customers, his service and attitude is horrible. If it weren't for the location and the great food, I would not come here, definitely need work on his people skills. Their honey mustard sauce is the best! [09 Jun 2004 16:51:02]

Famous Mussels And French Fries. Well, I come from Europe and to be frank, I come from France. There is one stuff we love in France, and also in Belgium. Having a huge pot full of mussels and some french fries with it. It is really tasty. I came in Blind Bay in July with my family. Each of us tried various items of the menu, all of them was really tasty. The dish was huge and delicious. My surprise was to find mussels available in the menu. So, guess what, I tried them. They are served with a delicious wine and sour cream sauce which is great for dipping fries (Oh, didn't I toell you, yes, I ordered and extra side dish, french fries of course. Crispy and yummy!). That was great. My father did the same. None of us could stop until the dish was done. Guess what? The next day, we was back, and while my family was trying other dish I came back to the mussels.
The waitress are very nice and the view on the marina after a rain is a wonder. So, if you are on the Canada HW1, indulge, stop by this place. [25 Sep 2005 17:28:39]

After being in Blind Bay for three months, we finally went last night and from the reviews decided to try the mussels and fish and chips. Delicious! A must try if you have the time. Disappointed that we didn't take the opportunity to enjoy the Cafe and menu a few more times this summer. [08 Sep 2006 13:09:36]
