Good Food, Poor Service
The food is really good there at good prices. The only thing is that they usually only have on waitress one at a time when it gets busy you have to wait along time and don't get what you need right away. Also they haven't finished painting in there and they have big spots of painted and un-painted areas. It looks bad and has been like that for over a year now!    [16 Sep 2004 02:21:18]

Always been one of my favorite restaurants
I've eaten at my fair share of restaurants, and I must say I enjoy Grand West (name is now something else, which I forget) and would probably say it's among my favorite semi-formal places to eat. You get wonderful food in a very cozy atmosphere for very reasonable prices.    [17 Apr 2005 01:26:20]

Salty food - salty service!
Prime rib with lemon potatoes and corn on the cob - what a combo! No choice of veggies, and the spuds were marinated in lemon for a week. Service was very friendly until I mentioned a choice of veggies - then the cold chill set in. Everything else was over-salted. Veal cordon-bologna? No kidding .. it had bologna in it! YUK. Clam chowder was excellent, salad crisp and fresh. Just stop there and have the main course elsewhere.    [25 Sep 2005 02:58:57]
