Best Place Ever

I Will Definitely be Back
I will definitely be back, even though I found the atmosphere a little "heavy". This is probably because the Oak is an older pub that has had years of smoke and beer absorbed into everything.

Mouthy Bartender.
The welsh bartender was very loud. The food was excellent, however I found the bartender, Gerry to be loud and obnoxious [just kidding]nice.    [07 Feb 2006 00:09:54]

Good Food, Bad Service
Ive always enjoyed the oak and carriage, it's usually great food, good portions and at a great price. I am sorry to say at my last visit for dinner and drinks I was overcharged on my bill for 4 drinks. When I confronted the wrong situation the staff was very cold and very un-proffesional. The drinks were taken off, but I felt like I was in the wrong the way the "staff" were treating me. I am not as happy of customer anymore.    [04 Jul 2007 20:34:06]
