Great Atmosphere
My buddy and I came from Vancouver to the Sunshine Coast to play golf. We ended up staying 4 hours at Gramma's drinking and chatting with the locals. The people are great. The service is great. I recommend this place as a pub.    [25 May 2003 22:50:42]

Worst service EVER
We went there on a Sunday, and it wasn't busy. We ordered. 45 minutes later our food wasn't here. I asked for the bill, thinking it would be here any minute and we could eat & pay saving time. When, another 25 minutes later I got up and asked her about the bill again, she said (rather stupidly) "oh, are you in a hurry." To which I said, we weren't but now is kinda pushing it.
Here is the killer though, she HADN'T EVEN ORDERED THE FOOD FOR US YET, to the kitchen.

We got the bill and for the first time in my life I left about a 3% tip.    [17 Jun 2006 01:58:49]

Dodgy
This pub used to have some of the better food in Gibsons, but it has recently (since spring 2007) gone down hill. Portions are smaller, quality is lousy. It's a pleasant place for a beer and fries while enjoying the view, but don't try the salads. One local told me the Thai dishes are OK on Mondays and Tuesdays when the better chef is in.
