Description
Molly's is a Gibsons landmark--the building was a TV set location, and the restaurant opened here after the demise of the popular CBC series "The Beachcombers". This is the centre of town, and the outside patio is a great place to watch the world go by. The inside has Beachcombers photos and memorabilia, and great views of the harbour. Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Reservations recommended during peak tourist times.

Molly's Needs Help Although Molly's Reach does have good food , and is a very friendly place to visit and eat at, it seems to me that Gwen the manager is in serious need of management training. The staff as much as they try to do their best, is second to most restaurants due to the lack of training, and that is the fault of management. [12 Feb 2004 11:56:54]

Great food I just came back from Gibson's and very much enjoyed my lunch at Molly's reach, and our server was amazing. It is a very busy place. And they do the best that they can. Looking out over the Marina was great. [19 Jul 2004 13:45:09]

Awesome Place. The whole experience was to die for. The food was brilliant. Our server was awesome. The view over the bay was breath-taking. Everything was.. perfect. Awesome little friendly place, I'd recommend it to anyone. [13 Feb 2005 04:11:52]

Excelent Breakfasts Knew the place in the mid 70s when the Beachcombers was being filmed, nice to see the place open again all ways stop for a great filling start to the day. This is not the "Savoy" in London. This is a small time resteurant in one of the most beautifull hidden places in the World. Its best only a few of know about this little "Gem". Always go with the Kiloh Family from Gibsons. [25 Apr 2005 15:50:49]

Reviving the charm Although I had never been to Molly's Reach, I was very excited to visit this charming community and nostalgic restaurant. Recently under new ownership, Kevin and his partner have encouraged a very warm and inviting atmosphere and delicious meals. They love this community and it shows. The Fanny Bay Oysters were great and these homemade desserts were out of this world. Hopefully they are open on Christmas as it will be nice to spend the day hanging out there again. I also hear that weekend evenings will host a local music open-mic night. [22 Dec 2005 14:08:02]

Popular with Tourists and Locals It's not the food that's the real attraction here, it's Molly's--a very busy tourist spot right beside the wharf with great views and a very pleasant ambiance. that. This is a good place for breakfast and lunch, and OK for dinner. The food is not brilliant, but it's good enough that locals eat here as well as tourists. [04 Aug 2007 22:04:09]
