Good and Bad Service
Just three days ago we received rather poor service at the Humpty's restaurant in Golden, B.C.

1. The rest rooms were not clean, a real problem when your five-year-old son needs to go to the "potty". We wouldn't have written a complaint, had it not been the same problem six months ago. Normally, we've had good reason to trust Humpty's restaurants, but the one in Golden needs to have very frequent visits by the health inspector!

2. My wife is a "celiac" patient, and is extremely allergic to any trace of gluten in her food. This does not make going to a restaurant very much fun at all. She loves the "temptation" omelette at Humpty's, and feels she can have a very enjoyable plate of food without being worried about the ingredients. However, the restaurant in Golden substituted a yogurt, that she feels now must have gone sour and she suffered afterwards for having stopped at the restaurant!

Generally speaking, we love their food services, and would rather complain when the service is lacking, than just not go to the restaurant.    [25 Apr 2003 14:39:13]
