Take-Out Borscht

Wonderful Food!
We ended up at the Omega restaurant late one evening .. (being tourists we forgot some towns totally close up at 6 pm!). The waitress welcomed us in, sat us down not once saying they were about to close(unknown to us). The food was wonderful and the service even better. I am sure our poor waitress wanted to go home but not once did she hurry us up and kitchen made no fuss about turning back on the ovens for us. Now thats service! So the next morning we made sure we hit this restaurant again for breakfast. Again food and service was great. I picked up a take out container of borscht for my mother in Kelowna and she swears its the best she has ever had!    [16 Oct 2005 21:17:25]
