Wonderful Authentic German Cuisine!
We had the veal schnitzel, and it was wonderful, as always. The presentation is very good, the food was hot, with good size portions - you don't leave hungry.

The service is also very good there. Not a waiter "in your face" all evening, but discreetly available when your water needs replenishing, or when you have a question or comment about something. They're able to make a recommendation on the food, provide a description of a meal, and the dinnerware is cleared away promptly when you're finished, without seeming like you're being rushed out.

The restaurant is very clean, not overly bright (cozy ambiance), and not overly crowded, though usually busy. Reservations are recommended if you have a specific time in mind.

I recommend this restaurant to everyone who enjoys or would like to experience good German cuisine. I feel the prices are competitive for the type of meals.

OUTSTANDING - Just like Best in Germany
I lived in Germany for a number of years. I salivate when I think of the Blk Forest Rest. in Harrison Hot Springs. Great service, great food, great prices . . . I could go on & on. By far, the best restaurant in Harrison Hot Springs - without a doubt!    [17 Jun 2006 02:23:05]
