Best Food Ever! We ate breakfast, lunch and dinner at the Treehouse Restaurant while we were in Kaslo. Tried other places as well but kept going back to the best. Service is good, but food is amazing. Apparently they're well known for their breakfasts, and the selection is huge! Also, you should leave room for desserts - they're fresh and homemade! Treehouse is # 1! We love the Treehouse. The food is delicious! We have been to many places but none compare, the Caeser salad and The Eggs Bennie are the best we've ever had. Thanks Pauline and Ronnie! [22 Jan 2005 17:25:53]

You're Kidding... right? I really have to question all the fuss about the Tree House. As a long time Kaslo visitor, I too had read the reviews and looked forward to a wonderful if not unique dining experience, BOY WAS I WRONG! Not only is the food just average, it's expensive for what it is. I ordered the nachos expecting something great as they do say Mexician cusine, ok, my 16 year old makes better nachos! All that I received was regular store bought round chips with cheese(not much) and the salsa chopped veggies, WOW! And the same for the rest of the family it was just ok. Don't get me wrong as it is OK but if you are rolling into town expecting to thrill your taste buds, you'll be disappointed. [26 Oct 2006 09:25:32]

Two thumbs up! We've eaten at the Treehouse a handful of times now,and it's become a tradition now whenever we're in town to have a meal(or two)there. It's an incredibly unique place, and the food is delicious. The really special thing about to us,as a large family,is that there's something for everyone. The menu is really eclectic, so whatever you're in the mood for,it's there! Also reasonably priced.Whoever wrote the above review must've been having a bad day. The Treehouse is terrifec! Let Me Count the Ways In random order: very comprehensive menu; attentive, hospitable, friendly staff; fellow patrons make friendly charming "neighbours"; super duper breakfasts; very generous portions, I could go on and on. On the down side, the coffee could stand a kick in the slats, especially when one wants real "go juice" with their brekkies! And the garlic toast needs more garlic...the bread is sublime! Most fave thing to date: the liver, bacon and onions--the best I've had away from home, what a treat. I like mine with mint chutney so I'm going to take some with me when I go to Kaslo again, and leave it in my daughter's fridge. We always go to the Treehouse; never disappointed, great place to relax and have a fine meal indeed, especially for the price. Thank you. [24 Oct 2007 12:52:12]

Your kidding right? Best nachos ever and I can assure that as a veteran of the cooking industry I can say some of the greatest home made dishes come from this little quiet cafe and by far the best breakfast known to man! [07 Jun 2008 09:51:14]
