Tasteless food!
I was expecting a lot because of this restaurant's great ads. Stupid of me. The place was packed with old folks chowing down on the most flavorless Chinese food I've ever encountered. I ignored the server's "how is it" three times before I blew up. I said, "it's not Chinese food". She informed me that "every cook has his own recipes and this is authentic Seychuan food". Well, no it's not.

The owner asked the same question as I paid so I said, "no flavor". He laughed and said, "oh, you were expecting Chinese flavor! Well, you won't get that here". No kidding.    [09 Sep 2006 17:46:42]

Horrific takeout
We have visited this restaurant in the past, and our dine-in experience was OK. Nothing special, but OK. I ordered takeout this evening and have almost never experienced such a mushy, stringy, shanghai noodle dish in my life. Steer clear of this restaurant's takeout... an absolute disaster. Even worse, when I called to tell the manager about the experience, I did not even receive an apology! He suggested that when I next come in (right, I'll get right on that) he would give me 50% off.    [25 Nov 2006 02:27:27]
