Great All-Around Dining Well, when I arrived, the customer service given by the staff was excellent, both organized, and quick! Once seated, my drink order was taken and brought to me very quickly. Tables, cutlery and all else seemed very sanitary. After deciding my meal from their all-day menu, which had quite a selection, I closed the menu and right away there was a server to take my order. I must say... Marylin (I think that was her name) had a very nice attitude and made my visit quite pleasurable. An easy wait and my food arrived. I started with a corn chowder soup followed by the steak sandwich. Both were excellent! It's not very often you get good food, good service, and good prices all in the same place! This is not the kind of place you take your loved one on a romantic dinner, but for a pleasent breakfast, lunch, or dinner, Ricky's proved excellent. [15 Jun 2003 23:55:41]

Disgusting Friday Night.. Bring home flowers and ask wife out to dinner flowers ..dinner....a little romance
Ordered ribs and linguine with bolognese sauce....they don't have that sauce there. ordered fish and chips. ordered onion tree for appy with world famous smokey dipping sauce
Dipping sauce came in little plastic thimble cup .....it was bbq and mayonnaise; onion rings were huge and plentiful but were only battered, not seasoned.
Ribs came and looked very overcooked....they were.
Whatever they were seasoned with was harder than a rock. They tasted like they were freezer burned then nuked beyond recognition. After 3 attempts of using a steak knife to saw into them..I gave them back.
The fish batter was so undercooked, my wife only ate the fish. The fries were a pale white colour and once again......unseasoned. Not even a dash of salt.
Well.....the water was cold and clear and the tea was hot. [28 Feb 2004 10:31:21]

The service reflects the attitude of managment in this place Sat am, June 12th 04.. 10:00 - 1030: My wife and I stopped into this establishment after completing our shopping for breakfast/brunch. The place was moderately busy and in no time we were seated and had a coffee in hand. As we perused the menu the place was slowing clearing of patrons.
After about 10-15 minutes a my wife had to "snare" a waiter (male) into taking our order.. (2 complete breakfasts valued at approximately $15 - 17.00).
Another party of 4 that had come in after our order had been taken were served their order, but, still no sign of our food.
About 30 minutes passed and a young lady advised use that our order was being processed. She was not the original waiter. I suggested to her that she had about 2 minutes to get the cook motivated.
A moment later I spotted what appeared to be a short order cook looking our direction from the entrance to kitchen. He rapidly disappeared.
At this point we left. My wife was ticked, and I was very angry.. Time elapsed was 35 - 40 minutes..
What would I compare the service to? Probably about the same level as a lousy truck stop. [13 Jun 2004 13:40:21]

Desire a good cup of coffee. It would be perfect if they served a better brand of coffee, let's face it, whatever it is it's really bad. [28 Jul 2004 14:11:01]
