I'd rather be in detention hall
Aside from the stupid theory that the servers have to gallop up a set of stairs to get their food and return dirty dishes, there is something wrong with the set up of this "pub". That is all it is and all it should be. The chairs are too high for the tables, they bring you your cutlery in a glass, the waitresses have their hair down, its a casual, VERY casual beer drinking destination. I had a steak wrap. that was chewy, soggy and ordinary. My friend had a salmon Caesar with cheese pita bread which was relatively good, I'll give em that. But why is it that when I'm in a place like this I get 9 different servers? I just want one. How else do I know who to waste the tip on? One last thought - I always thought that it was customary to ask the table if they'd like anything else BEFORE you print up the bill. She asked us alright but when we said no she pulled our bill out of her pocket. Presumptuous much?    [04 Sep 2004 17:00:23]
