Best Birthday Cake!
I just received a vanilla birthday cake from Ed's that had strawberry filling. I thought it was fantastic! Certainly better than grocery store cakes!    [12 Apr 2007 16:49:25]

The Best Bakery in Canada!
I have gone to Ed's Bake Shop religiously ever since I was a little girl and I must say, hands down, it is the best bakery I have ever gone to. The cookies are wonderful, and the cakes are beautifully decorated by Angelo. The soup of the day is packed full of flavour and, even though the prices are higher than your typical grocery store, you can truly taste the difference in the breads, cakes, and cookies. The baking done at Ed's is certainly a treat. Considering all the baking is done by one person, it is amazing that this store is as good as it is.
