Yuk!
We first visited Burros in 1999, with a large group, during the cinco de mayo celebrations. What a great place, then! We went there a few weeks ago (10/03), what a change.

There was one waitress, who spent more time cleaning the empty, unused tables (there were a lot of them!) than serving the few patrons that supported her. The other lady (hostess?) basically ignored everyone, except the waitress, whose time she wasted by telling her the latest Spanish gossip? This place sucks! The service is so slow! It was freezing cold, and the food was nothing exciting.

The music was too loud, and they didn't accept the Entertainment Book coupon as advertised, instead posting updated rules at the door, and on the menu. Oh, and the menu? Tacky, handwritten crap!

True Mexican Style
Well the previous reviewer has obviously never been to Mexico! If he had, he would realize that this restaurant is the true essence of Mexico. Great food; yes, the service is rather slow, but hey -- they are running on Mexican time! They believe in slow dining, relaxed atmosphere with family and friends. Pretty Much Agree With ..
